The Bishop of Doncaster, The Reverend Leah Vasey-Saunders : Safeguarding Failure.

A whistleblower tells a story of multiple failures to comply with The Bishop's Guidance.
The failures bring disrepute onto Wakefield Cathedral and All Saints Church, Pontefract.

  • Former Canon Precentor at Wakefield Cathedral.  ( September 2019 )
      Former Vicar of Lancaster, Lancaster Priory( September 2021 )
  • Leah Vasey-Saunders believes the woman, makes no verification effort beyond my attacker's circle of friends.
  • She fails to follow the legally required "Bishop's Guidance" on Safeguarding.
  • I hear nothing from Leah Vasey-Saunders.
  • I was never given opportunity to answer the allegations.
  • Even though she knew in her heart that something was wrong.
  • In February 2020 I am excluded from ringing at Wakefield Cathedral.
  • The stress and defamation she started still continues.
  • All the "Safeguarding" recording and compliance, a complete waste of time and effort.
